Understanding the Different Statuses of a Fullsms Campaign

Campaigns are the heart of the Fullsms platform. When you send a campaign, it is essential to be aware of the different statuses that it may have. Each status indicates where the campaign is in the sending process and what needs to happen next. Here are the different statuses that a Fullsms campaign can have:

  1. Ready – This status means that the campaign is queued for sending. It is ready to be sent, but it has not yet been started. Once the campaign has started, it will move to the In Progress status.
  2. In Progress – When a campaign is in progress, it means that it is currently being sent. This status will change to Completed once all the messages have been sent.
  3. Pending Review – This status is for campaigns that require Fullsms approval before they can be sent. For example, campaigns with custom sender IDs may need to be reviewed to ensure that they comply with Fullsms terms of use and privacy policy. Once approved, the campaign will be sent.
  4. Scheduled – If you have scheduled a campaign to be sent at a future date or time, its status will be Scheduled. Once the scheduled time is reached, the campaign will automatically move to the Ready status and be sent.
  5. Pending – When a campaign has insufficient funds, it will be paused, and its status will be Pending. Once your account’s balance is updated, the sending will automatically resume.
  6. Completed – Once all the messages in a campaign have been sent, its status will change to Completed. You can view a report of the campaign’s performance by clicking on the “Report” icon in the “Campaigns” screen.
  7. Failed – Campaigns that are completed but have no messages created usually fail when all the recipient’s numbers were invalid or non-mobile numbers.
  8. Declined – This status indicates that the campaign was declined by Fullsms. This can happen if the custom sender ID or the message content does not comply with Fullsms terms of use and privacy policy.
  9. Cancelled – If you need to stop a campaign before it is completed, you can cancel it. The campaign’s status will change to Cancelled, and no further messages will be sent.

In conclusion, understanding the different campaign statuses is crucial to managing your Fullsms campaigns effectively. By monitoring the campaign statuses, you can identify issues early and take corrective action as needed to ensure your campaigns are successful.
